Update on The Sleep Issues

Well it's always the simple solutions that are the best.

It seems that my lack of sleep was tied up with a lack of activity. No surprises there but I just didn't see it.

I somehow forgot that I had let my normal exercise routine slide a bit - No, not just a bit, completely. Instead of doing a bit of yoga 4 or 5 times a week and walking at least 3 times (and usually more) I was being lazy and was doing nothing that involved any effort at all (unless you call ironing and wheeling a shopping cart around the store effort. (Unfortunately that effort doesn't count as exercise because it doesn't make you out of breath.)

That sentence I wrote in May "no point eating healthily and exercising if you look like the living dead" was ironinc as I was neither eating particularly healthily nor exercising at all - there wasn't any point in it I thought LOL

Of course, I knew the theory that exercise helps you sleep more soundly but I wasn't applying it.
Anyway I started exercising again, not to sleep better but because I noticed that I was starting to put on a few pounds. (Funny that a little vanity will do what a promise of better health will not).

And I'm sleeping well again at least 6 hours a night. I feel so much better I won't ever forget this lesson (until the next time of course) (Wry smile)
